SUMMER TOURS SERIES 2026 · MYCONOKO LAB
Small mushrooms. Big questions. A discovery to take home.
The most surprising things can start with something small. On our 2026 summer visit to Myconoko Lab, students explored the world of mushrooms—and left with a growing project of their own.

THE EXPERIENCE
Discoveries worth bringing home.
What does a mushroom need to grow? What can it contribute to the food we eat? At Myconoko Lab, everyday questions opened the door to a closer look at fungi, nutrition and the technology used to support mushroom growing. Then the learning became hands-on. Students made their own take-home kits, turning a lab visit into something they could keep observing after the day was over. The next discovery would not need a classroom: it could happen at home, with a closer look and a little patience. For children, a growing kit is more than a souvenir. It offers a reason to notice change, ask new questions and share what they find with their families. That is the kind of curiosity we want to send home.
